The mission of the Meadowlark Curiosity Center is to provide a welcoming and engaging space where students have the opportunity to be curious about books and beyond. 

In our Curiosity Center, we inspire a love for reading and learning in a student-led environment that nurtures creativity, exploration, and a sense of belonging. We are more than a traditional library, we're a vibrant hub for curiosity and imagination. Our librarian is intentional about maintaining a diverse and culturally responsible collection that meets the needs of our students and broadens their understanding of the world. Through collaboration with students, staff, and the community, we provide engaging and worthwhile learning experiences for all ages.

Our mission is to provide equitable access for students and teachers to 21st Century Libraries staffed by certified Teacher Librarians in order to create a culture of lifelong learners and a community of digital citizens.

To support the BVSD Vision, every school will have a library with a robust, culturally rich collection that includes books, ebooks, audiobooks, and research databases for equitable access to relevant, current, trusted information. Every school will strive to staff a full-time certified teacher librarian that collaborates with staff, students, and community in order to nurture successful, lifelong learners who confidently confront the great challenges of their time.
