One of our traditions at Meadowlark is to read the 10 CCBA (Colorado Children Book Award Nominees) picture books together in grades K - 4 and then cast our votes for our favorites at the end of February.  We join thousands of kids across the state of Colorado in this fun tradition. 

Students in grades 3 - 6 have the option to also check out and read the Junior Book Nominees.  If students read at least 3 of the nominees, they can cast their vote for their favorite.  This year, if they read at least 6 of the nominees they can join me for a fun CCBA celebration in March.
