About Dawn Deming

10 Random Things 

1. In high school, I drove a yellow Vista Cruiser (similar to That 70s Show). His name was Lamar the Car. 

2. I became interested in art because we had an INSANE vinyl collection. I would draw the covers while listening to music (Bowie's Diamond Dogs still haunts me).

3. I suffer from malapropism.

4. I am an attentive listener, however, when I get excited about the conversation, I can interrupt, ask questions, and talk rapidly. I'm working on this :)

5. I think and overthink almost everything because I am curious and fascinated with this macrocosm -it’s my gift and my curse.

6. I am ambidextrous but mostly a leftie.

7. I really want a hedgehog, sugar glider, bees, rabbit, or a de-scented skunk at some point.

8. I'm an organized free spirit. I am always thinking about the next travel to immerse myself in different cultures.

9. I spent 4 years on the Mescalero Apache Reservation as teaching artist. I learned more about myself, people, and the world from this incredible experience.  

10. I do not like having my picture taken. I am working on that.
