What is Digital Citizenship?

We want our students to understand that they have a responsibility whenever they are online. Digital Citizenship is the appropriate behavior that we must teach our students so that they will be safe, responsible and respectful when using technology. As a result, they create a digital footprint that follows them both in the virtual and physical world. This digital footprint is “all the stuff they leave behind as they use the internet.”
