Hi! I'm Kelly Asselin, better known as Coach Asselin, and this is my tenth year at Louisville Middle School.
I've always been competitive and have loved sports for as long as I can remember. In high school I played volleyball, swam, and ran track before competing in the heptathlon at the University of Northern Colorado. I graduated from UNC in 2011 with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science (K–12 Physical Education) and later earned a Master's in Health and Wellness Education.
Before coming to LMS, I taught high school PE and Health in Colorado Springs at the same high school I attended, which was a little surreal.
When I'm not teaching, you'll find me coaching volleyball or track, jumping on the trampoline with my little kids, riding my cruiser bike, swimming, reading, or listening to true crime podcasts.
I really love what I do. My goal is to help you learn, challenge yourself, and have fun along the way. Let's make it a great year!
