Empathy Unit

During our empathy unit students learn to recognize different feelings by looking that the expressions on other people's faces as well as their body language. We talk about the differences in these feelings - some feel comfortable or uncomfortable in our bodies. We also discuss how we can feel different feelings when we do the same things as our friends. Recognizing different feelings will help us build background knowledge that we need for our next unit Emotion Management (learning how to calm down big feelings).
