Prough and Fink

Our mission: In fifth grade we aim to inspire, challenge, and motivate all students to reach their full potential by providing engaging, meaningful experiences that allow students to build knowledge and understanding.

I am originally from upstate N.Y. I moved out to Colorado in 1996 and completed my Bachelor´s Degree in Biology here at CU, Boulder. I then completed my Master in Teaching Degree in Seattle, before returning to Boulder to begin my teaching career in 2000. Since then I´ve taught abroad in Europe twice and otherwise, I´ve been here ever since. I am married to a teacher as well and my lovely bride (Tiffany) and I have two boys, Zidane and Maddex. We love to ski, kayak/raft, mountain bike, hike, camp and tavel as much as possible. In short, we are an outdoorsy and active family. I love Colorado and I love being a part of this incredible High Peaks community. This place is amazing! - Michael Prough

I'm one of the many Michiganders that has found a home in Colorado. I went to college at Michigan State University (GO GREEN). After graduating college in 2007, I moved to beautiful Colorado and have enjoyed each new adventure here. Other than teaching, I enjoy reading, fishing, board games, playing/watching sports, traveling, camping, hiking and so much more that Colorado has to offer. I've been in Boulder teaching, as well as coaching high school basketball since 2011. I love being part of the High Peak's community and plan to be a part of it for many years to come. - Zachary Fink
