Our mission: In fifth grade we aim to inspire, challenge, and motivate all students to reach their full potential by providing engaging, meaningful experiences that allow students to build knowledge and understanding.
I'm one of the many Michiganders that has found a home in Colorado. I went to college at Michigan State University (GO GREEN). After graduating college in 2007, I moved to beautiful Colorado and have enjoyed each new adventure here. Other than teaching, I enjoy reading, fishing, board games, playing/watching sports, traveling, camping, hiking and so much more that Colorado has to offer. I've been in Boulder teaching, as well as coaching high school basketball since 2011. I love being part of the High Peak's community and plan to be a part of it for many years to come. - Zachary Fink
Greetings families! I am thrilled to join the High Peaks learning community as a fifth grade teacher. It is going to be a year full of learning and new adventures and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with your child. I became interested in public education during my undergraduate studies and began to focus on access to education and policy through an anthropological lens. I earned my degree in Anthropology from the University of Tennessee, and I completed my postgraduate studies in Education at Lincoln Memorial University.
In my classroom, I focus on building a strong sense of community by providing an engaging, hands-on learning environment that motivates students to build confidence while inspiring them to follow their curiosities. I emphasize respect, innovation, and collaboration and help students reach their full potential by building a love for learning. Outside of the classroom you will find me mountain biking, painting, rock climbing and listening to bluegrass music (I’m from Tennessee after all!). I also love to travel and explore new places and cultures, and as a point try to include a world view in my classroom. Overall, I look forward to meeting you and for the adventure that awaits us in fifth grade this year! - Brittany Bradford
