Resource person: As a resource person, Diya Maria Cristo worked in Ettumanoor municipality for seven months, from November 2024 to May 2025. During this time, she contributed to various government schemes, including PM-SVAnidhi (Prime Minister Street Vendor's AtmaNirbhar Nidhi), PM-JJBY (Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana), and PM-SBY (Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana). She was responsible for conducting socio-economic profiling and facilitating the inclusion of beneficiaries in these government schemes, particularly for PM-SVAnidhi recipients.
TULIP intern: Diya Maria Cristo completed an internship at Ettumanoor municipality as part of TULIP (The Urban Learning Internship Program) under the NULM (National Urban Livelihood Mission) from July 2024 to September 2024. During this internship, she conducted fieldwork, data collection, data analysis, assessment, report writing, and documentation related to the Self Employment Programme (SEP).
During her academic period, Diya Maria Cristo completed various internships and field practicums in diverse settings, including local self-government authorities, de-addiction centers, hospitals (both medical and psychiatry), non-governmental organizations, and special schools.
