Hi!  My name is Mrs. Erika Furr and I am excited to be your child's first grade teacher this year. I know that you will find this year to be a year of tremendous growth in your child's education. First grade is truly magical!

I graduated from SUNY Potsdam with Bachelors Degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology, and hold a Masters Degree in Literacy from SUNY Oswego. This will be my 30th year teaching in the Baldwinsville Central School District.  I taught 2 years of kindergarten and have been in 1st grade for 28 years.

​I love being a teacher at Palmer Elementary and I look forward to a wonderful year working in partnership with your family! 

Hi!  My name is Mrs. Mary Widrick.  I am so excited for a fun filled year in first grade with your student! This year will be a year full of growth and exploration for your student. I know that I have so much to learn from your child as much they have to learn from me.

I graduated from Methodist University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I also attended Syracuse University for my Masters Degree in Teaching English Language Learners (ENL). This will be my 6th year teaching in New York State and 4th year teaching in Baldwinsville Central School District at Palmer Elementary.  Previously, I taught in the Syracuse City School District as well as in North Carolina. This will be my third year teaching 1st grade.  I have previously taught 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.  

Palmer Elementary is near and dear to my heart. It is a special place filled with learning, love, and laughter. I look forward to working with your student this school year and watching him/her grow!

Hello! My name is Susan Teska and I am looking forward to working in this amazing first grade class as a teaching assistant. I am a proud mom of 2 Palmer Penguin graduates who are now in college! I am a graduate of Penn State University and had worked in the hotel marketing profession for many years, but switched to education when my kids were young. I am happy to say I am in my 15th year at Palmer!

I enjoy working in the Palmer community and love being part of such a beautiful family! I am looking forward to a fun, productive year.
