Our goal with this part of the Friday @ 5:00 is to give you, as the parent(s), resources to have conversations about Jesus, with your family.

 This week in Chapel, we talked about Salvation and Regeneration. The Holy Spirit regenerates our soul as He brings us to Him in Salvation. We have been saved by God, as we talked about last week in Ephesians 2:8-9, it is a free gift from God. Now we are made alive in Him and have life abundantly, as Jesus states in John 10:10. 

Over the long weekend, take a moment to talk to your kids about what it means to live life abundantly. Jesus invites us into an abundant life. This is not a life that is full of stuff, but rather is full of living for Jesus. Have a conversation about what this looks like and go directly to Matthew 16:24 where Jesus tells us to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him.
