NEW BVCS ONLINE BOOK FAIR: October 12 - 25

You are invited to join us at the Book Fair! This year we will be offering an online Christian book fair hosted by I:55 Book Fairs. In this online fair, you will find that many of the books available are published by Christian publishers with the exception of some educational and specialty products. Look through our featured sections for suggestions by our librarians and classroom teachers.

Students love to read at BVCS and we hope you will visit our online Book Fair from October 12-25. It’s a great way to connect your students with books they want to read!

Be sure to check out the Three Christmas Gifts information. Books make a great Frankincense gift!

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

RECYCLING AT BVCS:

Your trash could be Christ's treasure! Every year we send a team of students to the Dominican Republic to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the people there. This year we are recycling cans and bottles to help raise money to send our team out with the Gospel. On campus you might see blue recycling bins for students to use. There is also a large container in the parking lot by Good Sam. Feel free to bring your recycling from home and drop it in there to help.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR CHILD'S SAFETY:

At BVCS, we want to partner with families and help our students be safe in all aspects of life, including in the digital world. Please read this helpful information to find out more on how you can be aware of your child's internet use.

7TH - 12TH ON CAMPUS OPENING INFORMATION

The big question on many people's minds is: WHEN? When can 7th - 12th grade students be back on campus for in-person instruction? According to the most recent information from our County, we are currently tracking to be able to open on campus in about 5 weeks. We will keep you posted! For those families not yet ready to send your child to campus when we are on-campus/in-person, Distance Learning will continue to be an option. Once we reopen on-campus for in-person instruction, we will no longer provide the camp option.

In the mean time, please read our 7th - 12th on-campus/in-person plan based on the state guidelines we must follow .

TEMPERATURE CHECK UPDATE

You will notice our new health forms allow for families to take temperatures at home before coming to campus each morning. This new simplification (with Public Health's approval) will take effect immediately and is reflected on the daily Student Health Check Form.

AIR QUALITY

We check our air quality before taking students/campers out to play. We use the following guidance from Real Time Air Quality We sure are thankful that the air quality is improving!
