The Application Window is Closed
Future funding will be available in 2025
Overview
The College of Education at Butler University is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for the Comprehensive School Mental Health Initiative. The initiative aims to support Indiana schools in developing a comprehensive approach to addressing the social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs within the school community.
The Comprehensive School Mental Health Initiative will award $1.2M in funding to assist in the implementation of the Comprehensive School Mental Health Framework over two years. For this first round of funding, a total of $600,000 is available for distribution to selected projects. The Comprehensive School Mental Health Initiative anticipates awarding up to four grants to schools that submit the most compelling proposals that demonstrate the capacity to implement and sustain high-quality programming that advances the initiative’s components. First-round awardees are eligible to reapply for round two funding.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks responses from school corporations and charter schools interested in being awarded a Comprehensive School Mental Health Framework grant. Applicants should note that although there are no minimum fund matching requirements, a sustainability plan is required to demonstrate a long-term commitment to this work. Further, funds awarded through this RFP are intended to supplement and not supplant any existing funding currently addressing school mental health.
Proposals: Proposals must be submitted by 5 p.m. (ET) on Monday, June 10, 2024, through the Application Form found here.
Project Period
July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025
