Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten Technology at Bon Air Elementary School. As students begin their educational career, it is my belief that the technology components of student learning should parallel topics presented in the core classroom. For example, letter and number recognition will be reinforced through keyboard use and other technological activities. Additional skills developed at the Kindergarten level are basic operating system navigation and terminology. While electronic learning will take place, the first semester of the school year will be spent completing unplugged activities to best prepare students for digital expectations. Students will build their way to first grade by connecting classroom concepts with digital implementation using growth mindset techniques.
