Learning about foreign languages and other cultures doesn't just have to happen in the classroom. There are a lot of ways to broaden your cultural awareness and find out more! This doesn't just have to be about French and Spanish. Below are a few suggestions which you can also do with your families!
Regarder en Français
If you're fed up of not being able to visit anywhere then why not do a virtual tour? There are plenty online but here are a few with commentary in French and Spanish.
There are plenty of foreign language series / films available on Netflix. You can also change the audio on some of your favorite series. Remember to ask your parents / carers permission and feel free to ask your class teacher for some suggestions.

Watch French and Spanish films on Netflix. Why not watch Disney Pixar's Coco in Spanish? Or any of your favourite films with French or Spanish subtitles.

Challenge Passport
Why not complete some of the challenges in your 'Challenge Passport' that your teacher has shared with you in your Google Classroom.

Develop your speaking and listening skills by visiting one of these websites. You can listen to music and audiobooks on Audible and Spotify or learn language skills with Duolingo.

Why not try to learn another language other than French and Spanish? Experts say that even 10 minutes a day will help improve you knowledge of vocabulary.

Do you enjoy cooking? Why not cook a French / Hispanic dish. Search online for recipes and don't forget to send your teacher a picture of what you have made!
