8th grade students participated in a series of 4 year planning lessons in the fall semester to prepare them for the course selection process. In those lessons, students were taught about the following topics:

• Lesson 1 - Core Classes, GPA, Class Rank

• Lesson 2 - Graduation Required Electives

• Lesson 3 - Endorsements

At the conclusion of these lessons, students were left with a 4 year plan in place as they approach course selection for 9th grade. Parents and students are encouraged to continually review and revise this 4 year plan as needed, however, 8th graders will need to return a signed copy of this plan to their high school counselor showing that this plan was discussed with parents.
