All applicants and their guardian will need to agree to the following production contract when submitting an online application. These expectations are not taken lightly and it is crucial that families discuss these together before committing to the application process.
The following are the expectations of the production contract:
• The applicant agrees to be respectful to everyone and everything in this production. They will in no way show disrespect to the Directors, Cast/Crew members, the show, the auditorium, materials used, and/or themselves.
• The applicant agrees to attend on time and fully stay for all rehearsal dates their role is called to and has listed on their application any dates/ times that they have known conflicts.
• The applicant agrees to be professional during this production by learning their role on time and with full effort, and being attentive and receptive to the Directors' comments/vision, including with acting/vocal choices, costuming, hair/make-up, and production planning/implementation.
• The applicant agrees to be responsible for taking care of items loaned to them during this production (costumes, props, microphones, etc.) and will replace the cost of these items, if damaged.
• The applicant agrees to be focused only on the needs of the production when at rehearsals and the performances. Distractions (devices, socializing, etc.) and non-production matters (school work, other activities) need to be prioritized outside of production time. Also, personal devices must be turned off and put away when entering rehearsals.
• The applicant agrees to continue being in good standing with school academics, attendance, behavior, and expectations while in the production and accepting school consequences, including immediate removal from the production for any severe incidents or concerns.
In the event that any student cannot follow the above agreements, the following steps will take place:
1) Verbal warning
2) Parent phone call
3) Parent Meeting
4) Removal from the production
