CREW ROLES AVAILABLE FOR THIS PRODUCTION:
PRODUCTION COORDINATOR(S)
Open to students who have participated in at least two previous BIS productions as crew members. Production Coordinators serve as leaders who plan, organize, and oversee the work of the crew teams.
Role requirements: Strong leadership , organizational, and proficiency with Google Sheets and online shopping (Amazon), online ordering skills; flexibility; 3-4 rehearsals weekly.
COSTUMERS
Organize, order, and assemble costumes and accessories. Communicate costume, hair, and makeup requirements to cast members. Distribute, collect, and store costumes during dress rehearsals and performances. Assist with hair/makeup checks, quick fixes, small alterations, and possible quick changes.
Role requirements: Proficiency with Google Sheets and online shopping (Amazon). Sewing skills are a plus; ability to follow instructions; diligence; some cosmetic experience; collaboration with team members; 3-4 rehearsals weekly.
PROP MASTERS
Organize, order, and assemble props for all characters. Communicate prop assignments to cast members and collect items after use. Maintain tidy and organized prop shelves and troubleshoot as needed.
Role requirements: Proficiency with Google Sheets and online shopping (Amazon); strong organization; creativity; diligence; collaboration with stage crew; 3-4 rehearsals weekly.
PUBLICISTS
Design digital and video advertisements and assist with editing the show program. Capture rehearsal photos and videos for social media. During performances, help check in guests and sell concessions.
Role requirements: Proficiency with Pages/Canva; strong interpersonal skills; creativity; organization; diligence; basic photography skills; 2-3 rehearsals weekly.
STAGEHANDS
Mark scenery placements on stage and run movement cues during tech rehearsals and performances. Maintain a clean and organized backstage area. Assemble and move set pieces, and troubleshoot when needed.
Role requirements: Strong focus; ability to move set pieces safely; ability to create and maintain cue notes; collaboration with stage crew; 2-3 rehearsals weekly.
SOUND TECHNICIAN
Organizes, creates, and adjusts the show playlist. Cues other tech team members and runs all sound cues during tech rehearsals and performances. This role requires a high number of rehearsal hours—especially in the two weeks before the show—and strong focus.

MICROPHONE TECHNICIAN
Become familiar with the script and characters. Distribute, secure, collect, and store microphones during all tech rehearsals and performances. Run mic cues for each scene and make adjustments when necessary.
Role requirements: Strong focus; organization; ability to create and follow cues carefully; collaboration with tech crew; 2-3 rehearsals weekly.
LIGHTING TECHNICIAN
Design and create stage lighting for each scene and run all lighting cues during tech rehearsals and performances.
Role requirements: Strong focus; ability to create and maintain cue notes; collaboration with tech crew; 2-3 rehearsals weekly.
SUPPORTING TECHNICIAN
Assist with house and backstage lighting, microphone distribution, and general tech needs as they arise.
Role requirements: Strong focus; ability to follow cues diligently; strong teamwork with tech crew and cast. 2-3 rehearsals weekly.
