"Going to Burke Middle College is an experience I will never forget. The small student population allowed us to have a close-knit community feel that is incomparable to traditional high schools. We had so many special times together from Soup to S’more days! One of my favorite things about BMC was the teachers. They truly care about each of their students and have a passion for their jobs. They inspired me to choose teaching as my career path too. I am currently online at Appalachian State University studying Career and Technical Education: Family and Consumer Science Education. Thanks to BMC, I am two years ahead in my bachelor’s degree. After graduation, I will teach high school home economics and hope to impact my students the way my teachers did for me."

"I graduated from BMC in 2017. I graduated with my high school diploma and an associate’s degree in science. Since then, I have completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology, got my teaching license, and I am currently finishing up a master’s program in elementary education. Burke Middle allowed me to get a head start on my education. I loved my experience at BMC! The group as a whole was very close knit, you knew everyone there, and you never felt left out."
