Dear Choir Parents & Students,
WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME TO BURKBURNETT MIDDLE SCHOOL CHOIR!!!
Welcome to our 2023-2024 school year!!! I am so excited to see and meet each of you, to learn more about you as well as to develop good working relationships with you. If you have not done it yet, please visit the "About the Director" tab on this site. I have been in this profession for many years, and each year is unique. Last year was an exciting and successful first year. and I have no doubt that this will be a another great year.
Please know that you are valued as students and parents and I personally would like to see as many of you take part in all of our activities throughout the year. Our program cannot survive without you and it is my goal for us to become better musicians every day, regardless of what that looks like today. Our schedule has moved from 8 periods per day to 7 periods. Please help us all by being accommodating to one another through this period of transition. My wish for you is that your experience this year will be memorable and worth reflecting upon for years to come as I am willing to go the distance for us to reach our highest potential in every endeavor.
It is my hope that you will take advantage of EVERY opportunity to learn vocal music all while having a great time interacting with your peers and sharing the art of Choral Music while building an even stronger sense of pride for your school and community. I am still a work in progress and I desire your assistance in making our program the best it can be as I express my appreciation in advance for your patience, kindness and flexibility this year.
