Instructional Plan During Closure
Parents & Students:
While Burkburnett ISD campuses are closed via Governor Abbott’s directives for Covid-19, the district has a distance learning plan in place. Each student is important to us and will be contacted by one of their teachers in order to provide information on accessing virtual school through Google Classroom. Teachers are working diligently to provide quality lessons and activities during the closure.
Assignments and activities will be designed that are meaningfully connected to the course curriculum and can be completed in 15-20 minutes (PK-5). All instruction, student work, and assignments will be delivered via Google Classroom. For more information, please email your child’s teacher or contact the district office at 940-569-3326.
Ipads may be picked up on March 30, 31, and April 1, and online instruction will begin on Thursday, April 2.
Google Classroom can also be accessed by logging into BISD’s Classlink single sign-on page at https://launchpad.classlink.com.
If you have questions or need more information, please email your child’s teacher or call the school office at 940-569-3311.
