Instructional Plan During Closure
Parents & Students:
Teachers will design assignments that are meaningfully connected to the course curriculum and can be completed in 20-30 minutes (9-12). All instruction, student work, and assignments will be delivered via Google Classroom or other online platforms that students are already using.
The implementation of our online instruction through Google Classroom will begin Monday, March 30th with the following guidelines:
Monday/Wednesday:
8:00 - 11:00 am Math only
12:00 - 3:00 pm Social Studies only
Tuesday/Thursday:
8:00 - 11:00 am Science only
12:00 - 3:00 pm ELA only
Friday:
8:00 - 11:00 am Foreign Language only
12:00-3:00 pm Electives/Athletics only
Teachers will hold virtual office hours for at least one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon.

Students will be responsible to complete online assignments to receive credit for their classes. If you do not have access to the Internet, please contact the high school office. The district has limited mobile wifi devices that can be checked out to you if you do not have Internet access. In the meantime, we will make paper copies of the assignments so students can stay current. We will call you to make arrangements for pick-up or delivery.

Access live assistance from your teacher at times posted in your Google Classrooms

High School Learning Priorities
The primary tools for communication between teachers and families will be Google Classroom
All learning activities will be posted in Google Classroom
Teachers will provide lessons that will be recorded and made available to students to watch at any time.

Students will continue their current progress in the Apex Learning Platform
The primary tools for communication between students and teachers will be email, Google Classroom, or the messaging feature in Apex
Academic integrity, especially using online distance learning, is essential. Therefore, teachers will continue monitoring student achievement through multiple reports.
Recommended Time Frames for Learning
8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Students will be able to access courseware Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
By the end of the school year
Students should be able to finish their enrolled Credit Recovery courses by the end of the regularly scheduled school year.
