If you have a question about our class, I encourage you to ask your student to email me, on their own, first. This is an excellent learning opportunity for you to sit with them as they compose a professional email that expresses what they need in an effort to advocate on their own behalf. They are welcome to copy you on the email.
As a parent, I get wanting to speak up for your student, but we cannot advocate on their behalf forever. It is advisable that students learn how to handle their own needs in a safe space like our class before heading out into the real world.
I look forward to partnering with you and your student to promote independent, self-reliant, responsible students!
