To motivate BulSUans during the midterms week of the First Semester of Academic Year 2025-2026, the Guidance and Counseling Services Center (GCSC) - Main Campus hosted another phase of its project which commenced last academic year, entitled: Sweet Breaks for Your Grind: Fuel Up and Keep Going! on September 17, 2025, at the BulSU Heroes' Park. The activity was utilized to help students revitalize by distributing free biscuits and candies, helping them stay energized to face their examinations.
This simple but thoughtful gesture brought smiles to students of BulSU, serving as a reminder to take short breaks and recharge despite their heavy academic workload. The successful implementation of this initiative was made possible again through the constant support of Mrs. Estrella L. Ranas, RGC, the Head of the GCSC - Main Campus, together with her innovative and hardworking staff; Assoc. Prof. Joseph Roy F. Celestino, the Dean for Student Affairs and Services - Main Campus; and with an another reliable help from the officers and members of the Association of Peer Facilitators and Advocates of Mental Health (A-PFAM), whose invaluable assistance contributed to the efficient execution of this fruitful program for BulSUans.
We, at the GCSC - Main Campus, remain committed to promoting student well-being by being a consistent driving force of the University to instill a supportive and positive learning environment.
