THE HEAD OF GCSC

Mrs. Estrella L. Ranas, a seasoned faculty member and Instructor III from the Bulacan State University College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, is the current Head of the Bulacan State University Guidance and Counseling Services Center (BulSU GCSC) - Main Campus since January 9, 2025.

She took Bachelor of Science in Psychology at St. Louis University, City of Baguio, finishing it in 1988. Further, she completed Master of Arts in Education major in Guidance and Counseling in 2019 from Bulacan State University. In addition, Mrs. Ranas is a Registered Guidance Counselor with the Professional Regulation Commission.

Mrs. Ranas, together with her staff of six (6) psychometricians and one (1) administrative aide, empowers the GCSC, serving the over 25,000 student population of the University Main Campus. She also serves as one of the Advisers of the Bulacan State University Association of Peer Facilitators and Advocates of Mental Health (BulSU A-PFAM), the primary student arm of the BulSU GCSC - Main Campus.
