I will be the first person to say that I don't encourage social media for middle schoolers. However, I know many of you have it, so with your parent's permission, let's use it to stay in touch.

Also...did you know our school has a Facebook page? Lots of info and great pictures and some of your teachers just being... well... themselves. :)
Please be sure to check with your parents before using any social media!
Make a routine for yourself. Get up and go to bed at the same time each day. Get dressed each day, even if you don't leave the house. Decide when you will study and complete homework and stick to it. Play an instrument? Practice! Exercise, even if it's just in your living room. Connect with friends over the phone, or online and through social media, if your parents allow it. Learn a new skill, start a new craft, draw, dance, sing... staying home doesn't have to be boring.
Use the links on the mindfulness page or your own favorite apps to reset your mind each day. Just 5-10 minutes a day can make all the difference!
Make it part of your daily routine. And if you have an app or a link that you suggest, email it to me and I can let others know about it too!
