Our Summer Leadership Institute is now in its 4th Cohort. We are proud to see how participants from our SLI continue to serve our Church as youth ministry leaders and catechists to this day. The SLI program began as a way to help those discerning to answer the call as youth ministers as well as those who found themselves early in their leadership journey. This year, SLI will be expanding its training to two levels of formation. We have partnered with NFCYM, who will be offering the basic level training. Dominican University, in partnership with BSYC will be offering the second level of training. The program will be facilitated in English.

This training will help the participant:
1) Build supportive relationships with other ministers of local schools and parishes that work with youth.
2) Gain confidence on exercising basic functions of a Youth Minister
3) Gain confidence in contributing to the mission of Youth Ministry
4) Gain confidence in pastorally accompanying young people

This training is being sponsored and offered by BSYC in collaboration with Dominican University, The National Federation of Youth Ministry, the BSYC Collaborative, and the excellent faculty members who have extensive training in youth ministry.
