THE ISSUE: 

We are losing thousands of young people every year on the Southwest Side of Chicago from Catholic parish life and faith engagement after they are Confirmed or graduate from Catholic School. 

The Vision

We want to become a center for youth ministry development that will support and directly impact the renewal efforts of our local Catholic Parishes and Catholic Schools by offering them and their young people dynamic, high quality, faith-based programming that will lift, form, and inspire young people to engage in parish life and missionary discipleship. 

OUR STRONG CONVICTION:

We strongly believe in the missionary model of attraction.  As long as we accompany young people through powerful encounters with Christ and His Church, complete with high quality production, live music, food, faith, and fun, all for FREE;  our Lord Jesus will heal and transform their hearts and the Holy Spirit will do the inspiring work of engagement.

• 50 young people from our local Catholic Schools and Religious Ed Programs are lifted up and inspired to engage in parish Eucharistic life and ministry thanks to BSYC's Catholic events and retreats.
  
  
  

• 3 of our local southwest side Catholic Parishes will have effective and lively youth ministry programs thanks to BSYC’s training sessions, resources and support.
  
  
  

• 5 new Youth Ministers are formed and prepared for active service in our local parishes thanks to our BSYC’s leadership training programs
  
  

• 60 Teen Peer Ministers will be formed and trained by BSYC to be young leaders of our local parishes
