As a Featured Program, this program is completely free for all our BSYC Members. ONLY 15 spots are available for young people ages 7-17 (Co-ed)
Youth Sports IFE is a BSYC Featured Program, hosted at BSYC (3600 W. Cermak Rd. in Chicago)
Youth Sports IFE- Baseball is a program that focuses on fostering growth in areas of education, community service, and life skills while learning the fundamentals and techniques of baseball. This program is for young people ages 7 - 17 (co-ed).
The main goal of this program is to continue to empower our youth by using sports as a catalyst to improve our inner city communities.
1. Young people will be more confident in not only being baseball players, but also leaders in life, feeling capable of overcoming challenges and obstacles.
2. Young people will have more confidence in their social skills as they build community among their companions
3. Young people will learn the skills, values, and abilities for effective teamwork, which will be essential not only for playing this sport but for his or her leadership in life.
4. Young people will develop the skills for critical thinking, a leadership skill needed in sports, school, and life.
The program will meet every Tuesday, starting September 13th from 5:30 PM - 6:45 PM at 3600 W. Cermak RD., Chicago IL 60623
1. A BSYC Featured offers quality programming, with structure, goals, objectives, and strict schedule. Therefore, parents who enroll their children in this program must commit in keeping good attendance and to its requirements. Attendance is important for the Child's BSYC membership to be in Good Standing. There will be 3 opportunities for approved absences, while maintaining good BSYC membership standing.

4. Parents can stay and wait for their kids to finish, but must wait in the waiting area.
5. Parents are required to support our Christmas Fundraising Campaign by simply sharing our campaign's link in their social media.
Parents are invited to come to BSYC, attend one of the sessions, talk with the partnership organization responsible of this program, research, and make their own choice when it comes to enrolling their children to any of our Featured Programs. Most of our Featured Programs are not developed and coordinated by BSYC; we are only hosting and providing the service to our membership. It is the responsibility of the parent to use due diligence when choosing to enroll their children in any of our Featured Programs. While we, BSYC, do our best in choosing programs that align with our mission and vision, we have no control of the detailed implementation, facilitation, and content of these programs, thus are not held accountable of any action or content that goes against our set of policies, procedures, and values of BSYC.
