HILLPEZ conducts Capability Building Activity through its TechPrOFSLM Project

In line with the implementation of the Technology Promotion of Organic Farming for Sustainable Land Management of Hillyland Soils project, the DA-BSWM-NSWRRDC HILLPEZ conducted the 2024 Capability Building of Hillyland Farmers on Production and Utilization of Organic Inputs for Sustainable Land Management (Batch 1) on 09 July 2024 at the NSWRRDC HILLPEZ, Cuyambay, Tanay, Rizal.
The activity, participated in by 16 hillyland farmers from Brgys. Cayabu and Sampaloc Tanay, Rizal, and nine students taking up Bachelor of Science in Agriculture featured topics on Organic Farming and its Benefits on Soil Health and Fertility by Agriculturist II Aubrey Ann B. Ayaton-Carneo, and Vermicomposting Technology sa Pamamaraan ng NSWRRDC HILPEZ and Vermitea Production by Supervising Science Research Specialist Leolito D. Siase.
This capability building activity is one of the two capability building commitments of the National Soil and Water Resources Research and Development Center for Hillyland Pedo-Ecological Zone under component 3 of the Technology Promotion of Organic Farming for Sustainable Land Management of Hillyland Soils project being implemented under the leadership of Center Chief Joven P. Espineli.
