Small Group
Small groups consist of 3-8 students experiencing similar situations. This is a great way for students to understand that others are also going through what they are experiencing. Students can connect while also working on ways to handle or manage their situation. Small groups are held once a week during lunch so no class time will be missed. Typically groups are held for 6-8 weeks. Parents/guardians will be informed about groups and a parent permission form will be sent home.
Potential small groups include:
Friendship Group - how to make friends and be a good friend
Changing Families - adjusting to a change in the family
Worry Warriors - dealing and managing anxiety
Self Regulation - learning to manage different emotions
Girl's Group - making strong connections and building self-esteem
Boy's Group - becoming a leader and growing self-esteem
Military Group
Bellbrook is home to many military families and we want to be able to support you and your family! Every month our MFLC, Military Family Life Counselor, and I will be hosting a military lunch group. Students are able to connect with other military students and share about their experiences. Please check out the Military Families tab to learn more!
