Military Families

If you are a Military Family, please CLICK HERE and complete this form. This helps us meet your unique needs! We are so happy to have you here at BCI and in the Bellbrook community. We are fortunate enough to have a MFLC, Military Family Life Counselor. Every month your child will be invited to have lunch with the MFLC along with other military students in their grade. This is a great opportunity for military students to meet others in the same or similar situations as them.

EVENT: 5th Grade is hosting our 6th Annual Veterans Day Celebration on Thursday November 9th from 9:45-10:30.

BCI 5th grade students and staff would like to invite military veterans to celebrate Veterans Day with our BCI students.  If any 5th grade student would like to invite a Veteran (Family Member, friend, neighbor), we would be delighted to have them visit our school.  Perhaps some of our Veterans have never visited BCI.  It is a great experience and creates a wonderful memory for the children while we honor current and past military men and women. 

Our morning will consist of a hallway parade at BCI as well as a celebration with the Bellbrook High School JROTC presenting the colors and song in the gymnasium.  To conclude, all guests will receive a breakfast-to-go, where in the sack is hand-decorated by our third & fourth graders.

If a 3rd or 4th grader has an active duty family member, they will also have the chance to invite their Veteran to the celebration. Invite forms will be going home to our military families and all students of the 5th grade.
