OUTCOME REPORT OF WORKSHOP ON INCLUSIVE LEARNING
INTRODUCTION
We are felling very proud that Daffodil Polytechnic Institute arranged a Workshop on Inclusive Learning at Daffodil International University which is conducted by Honorable Vice –Chancellor, Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam.
Inclusive teaching and learning practices are instrumental in creating and maintaining a learning environment in which all participants are fully engaged and respected, and in which all participants are open to ideas, perspectives, and ways of thinking that are distinct from their own.
What is Inclusive learning?
Inclusive learning is a great learning system that all student’s learn a topic with very enjoyfull that respects diversity, enables participation, removes barriers. which all participants are open to ideas, perspectives, and ways of thinking that are distinct from their own. Mainly they can learn their subjective topics with great joy.
Importance of Inclusive learning
It’s a social and ethical responsibility that will have a positive impact on the way that teachers andent community work together to improve the development of, and support for all its members.
How do I create an inclusive learning environment?
There are four dimensions of the learning environment to consider. Getting to know your students and reflecting on your own teaching persona are good first steps, but also consider the content and activities you plan.
“When we choose what content to teach and what to leave out, when we select examples, when we develop our teaching methods, when we design our assignments, we make decisions about what we value and we communicate those values to our students”.
STEPS OF INCLUSIVE LEARNING
Easy Question
The teacher should ask appropriate question so that students can answer very easily and increase their confidence.
Subject Wise Question
In second step teacher should question a bit more difficult Subject Wise.
Guess the Answer
We need to set the question that student Guess the Answer and find it out internet searching.
Feedback
After that they will easily become familiar with the subject question and its solution
Application
At last, by this learning student can practice the same more by Team Work, Bonding, Platform, Analysis, Implementation and Result.
