Students of Daffodil Polytechnic Institute of Architecture and Architecture and Interior Design Technology visited different places of historical and modern architecture from August 2 to August 4 to gain practical knowledge.First, after visiting Natore's "Uttara Ganabhavan", they visited "Mahasthangarh" in Bogra, one of the archaeological sites of Bangladesh and later visited "Friendship Center" in Gaibandha, an "Aga Khan" award winning project based on the concept taken from Mahasthangarh.During the visit, the manager of "Friendship Center" Md. Lokman Hossain discussed the details of the entire project with the students.
Field work skills make a civil engineer and architect tactful and experienced. Daffodil Polytechnic Institute provides hands-on training and visits to infrastructure construction sites to develop field-level work skills and experience for students of Civil and Architecture Technology. Today the students of Civil and Architecture Technology demonstrated the construction site of Sobhan Bagh Mosque on the ground which will be helpful in enhancing their construction knowledge and skills.
Architectural Site visit at National Parlaiment Building
Students of the Architecture Department of Daffodil Polytechnic Institute regularly visit various establishments to gain practical knowledge along with syllabus oriented textbooks. In view of this, the students visited the National Parliament building today. Students gain special knowledge from the meticulous design of the Parliament building and the construction techniques of this structure.
