Our Bi-weekly newsletter
FIRST EDITION:
For our first edition of the ISB Lair Newspaper, we chose to do a “Teacher of the Month” article. Our interviewers went around the school asking students from different grades who their favorite teachers were. We decided to do this to show our appreciation to all the staff, teachers, and administrators of ISB for being the foundation of this school!
SECOND EDITION:
For our second edition of the ISB Lair Newspaper, we chose to do an "Opinions on the Phone Policy" article. The Phone Policy consists of a method to keep students off their phones. At the beginning of each class you are expected to put your phone away in either your backpack or a phone holder most classrooms have. During class time you are expected to not have your phone out for any reason unless you have permission from the teacher/class supervisor. The BSD policy has sparked mixed reactions among ISB Students.
THIRD EDITION:
For our third edition of the ISB Lair Newspaper, we chose to do a "What does the holiday season look like to you?" article. With the holiday season fast approaching, we interviewed ISB staff and students to share the various ways they celebrate the holiday season.
FOURTH EDITION:
For our fourth edition of the ISB Lair Newspaper, we chose to explore the question "What does culture mean to you?" Inspired by Culture Week at ISB, both staff and students shared their personal reflections on the meaning snd significance of culture in their lives, offering a diverse array of perspectives.
