On Sunday, January 26, Macy Xie, Christopher Clemens, Samantha Reineck, Heaven Wirth, Sophia Bible, Noah Mills, Logan Smith, Zachary Schafer, Khristopher Alspaugh, Jeet Patel, Joshua Sampson, Carter Montalvo, Raiden Rezabek, and Ethan Bailey participated in the annual Williams County All County Music Festival at Edon. The MS Band was represented by Nova Grennay, Lila Brock, Brianna Herman, Charlotte Johnston, Trinity Sampson, Rylee Arquette, Curran Coffman, Jacob Burnett, Cooper Clarke, Nathan Root, Wesley Lupo, Brylan Sonner, Theodore Luthy, Remington Rosebrock, Alaina Tietsort, Mya Moore, Makenna Myers, Connor Monroe, and Camden Reasoner. It was a great concert and we had a wonderful time working with our guest clinicians Ms. Bostwick and Mr. Gallehue. A huge thank you to Edon for hosting this year's event.
Saturday, February 1 was a great day in Defiance at the OMEA District 1 Solo and Ensemble Contest. A huge thank you to Defiance for hosting such a well run event. Congratulations to the following students who received Superior (I) Ratings: Class A, Macy Xie and the Flute Trio of Macy Xie, Casey Xie, and Christopher Clemens. Class B, Khristopher Alspaugh, Grason Butler, Noah Mills, Carter Montalvo, Zachary Schafer, and the Woodwind Trio of John Dalrymple, Noah Mills, and Macy Xie. Class C, Jeet Patel. The following students received Excellent (II) Ratings: Class C, Addison Byers, Christopher Clemens, and Joshua Sampson. Your success today is a testament to your hard work and dedication. Keep up the great work!
On Tuesday, February 11, the MS Bands had their Winter Concert (see link below). Just a few days later on February 15th, the 7th and 8th grade students joined us at the Boys vs. Paulding basketball game to cheer on the Golden BeaOn Sunday, March 2 the HS Band will host their Contest Preview Concert at 4pm in the HS Gymnasium. They will be performing at Large Group Contest at Sylvania Southview HS on Saturday, March 8 at 12:40pm, this performance is free and open to the public. The Fifth Grade Band and Orchestra will be presenting their Winter Concert on Monday, March 3 in the Bryan Elementary Gymnasium.

The BCS choirs performed their late winter concerts last weekend at Bryan First Presbyterian Church. Choir students in grades 6-12 performed a variety of choral music. If you missed the concerts, you can watch them on-demand courtesy of Golden Bear TV and the Bryan Music Boosters.
The BHS Concert and A Cappella Choirs will be performing at the OMEA District 1 Large Group Adjudicated Event held at Sylvania High School on Friday, March 7. There, they will perform three pieces from memory and sight read for a rating. The Concert Choir's performance begins at 7:35pm and A Cappella Choir's performance will begin at 8:35pm. Both are in the Northview Gymnasium. Spectators are welcome (and there is no cost for admission)!
Be on the lookout for information regarding general admission ticket sales for our upcoming spring musical, Disney's High School Musical On Stage! Performances will take place on Friday, April 11, Saturday, April 12, and Sunday, April 13 at the Arts and Education Auditorium. We hope to see you there!

The Bryan High School Orchestras are celebrating a big success! On Friday evening, they competed in the OMEA State Orchestra Competition and received straight Superior (I) Ratings! This is a significant accomplishment and reflects the students' growth in musicianship and their hard work. Congratulations to all of them!
The High School String Orchestra performed its Contest Preview Concert on February 9th. If you missed this tune up for the OMEA State Orchestra Competition, you can watch it on-demand courtesy of Golden Bear TV and the Bryan Music Boosters.
The 6th-8th Grade Orchestras will be putting on their Late Winter Concert this Sunday at 2 PM at the Wesley UMC Church, and the 5th Grade Orchestra will present their program on Monday, March 3rd @ 7:00 PM in the Bryan Elementary Gym.
The Alternative Strings class is also busy preparing for two major performances. The first is at a Popular Music festival and workshop held at the Toledo School For The Arts on March 15, and they apply what they have learned for their school concert on Tuesday, March 18th @ 7 PM in the High School Commons. Please join us and hear all the exciting things our students are up to!
We are thrilled to announce the opening reception, which will take place on March 31st from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Williams County Public Library! Every student from Cub to 5th grade will have a piece on display! Yes, hundreds of amazing art pieces!

The exhibition will remain up for viewing during WCPL open hours through April 9th.
