This website is titled "A Seller and His Fixers".
It represents a "Digital Picture Book" about a Home Seller in Monterey County California who got involved in a Scheme with a Real Estate Agent to "fix up" his home in order to sell it at a price greater than it was worth.
The Scheme involved concealing and obfuscating $150,000 to $250,000 in defects by combining $40,000 in construction cover up work with disclosure omissions made by the Seller and his Fixer-Real-Estate-Agent.
The Scheme also involved the use of "Professional Inspectors" who generated faulty reports for the Fixer-Real-Estate-Agent who then passed them along to the perspective buyers during their bid consideration process. Those reports totally omitted material defects and obfuscated material facts complimentary to the disclosure omissions made by the Seller and his Fixer-Real-Estate-Agent
In this Scheme, the Seller hired a "Fixer".
The Fixer recommended the use of TWO Contractors and TWO Inspectors, known to him from his Keller Williams Coastal Estates Office for the "Fix Up".
The Fixer supervised the TWO contractors in the Seller's full time absence.
The Fixer scheduled, participated in, personally paid for, and took possession of TWO faulty inspection reports.
The Fixer listed the home with his Brokerage, Keller Williams, at which point he formally became the Sellers Real Estate Agent.
The Fixer delivered the faulty inspection reports as disclosure documents to the perspective buyers as a Licensed Real Estate Agent in California.
The Fixer later delivered disclosure documents for he and his seller that were riddled with material omissions and missing support documentation.
In summary, this is a story about dozens of Acts of Fraud and Conspiracy to Commit Fraud enacted by one Seller and a group of very Seasoned Professionals to sell a home for hundreds of thousands of dollars more than it was actually worth.
We refer to the TWO contractors and the TWO inspectors as the "Fixer's Network".
We refer to the Fixer and the Fixer's Network collectively as "The Fixers".
Truth be told, if you follow this story into deeper waters, you will discover their malfeasance exposed a far larger, industry wide, commercial fraud that should shatter some minds and possibly some industries too. However, for this website, let's stay smaller. Just focus on these SIX individuals until the others become of greater interest via natural curiosity.
This Picture Book website was created to fill several needs.
First and foremost, it was created to "supplement" formal complaints that have already been filed with Professional Oversight Bodies and Legal Enforcement Bodies shown in the diagram below. The formal complaints are far more detailed with written prose, but it's hard for people to understand a web of relationships and criminal acts without photos and colorful flowcharts that bring them to life.
It was also created to help "bring in readers" from the body politic who are ready to get more involved with designing an entirely new Real Estate Brokerage and Legal System.
This scenario only manifested due to decades of Brokerage and Inspection Industry erosion due to insufficient Community Oversight.
In its current state, the Broker's in California are energetically raping Buyers.
In its current state, unethical Brokers have a far easier job attracting and pleasing Seller's, the only paying consumer of Brokerage Fees, and they enjoy a reduced risk of lawsuits from transaction participants because of that orientation. Real Estate Attorney's are benefiting because they are seeing illogical disputes related to illogical contract clauses over and over again, and they are settling them in "confidential agreements" for perpetual income.
Changes that would represent alignment with current laws on the books, and a win for Community are a Loss for those abusing us all in a gross manner. Changes make the Brokers' Job managing sellers who want to cheat more challenging, and there's far less perpetual revenue to be had for Brokers and Attorneys combined for several reasons.
But let's not go any further into that now. Just allow that seed to germinate as you focus on this "Conspiracy of SIX".
Anyone who reads about the Seller and his Fixers in detail should wonder why they felt comfortable pursuing this scheme with so little concern for negative consequences.
The level of Zeal was startling. That's what got our attention first and that's what should get yours too.
Due to our experience as experienced Real Estate Buyers in another State, what became apparent was the fact that EVERYONE involved in the transaction, including the Brokerage representatives claiming to be working for us, seemed to be in on a Scheme at some level or another.
That's when we started taking COPIOUS NOTES and setting a few traps of our own.
Sometimes, the only way to handle a "f-ck you" scenario is with a "f-ck you" crack back.
That involves using strategies and technology in a unique way that the other
"Players" never considered.
They never saw this coming.
I've been using websites as a tool to obtain Equitable and Rightful Outcomes in Disputes while circumventing the broken legal system for over 20 years.
I recovered $50,000 I left with an Assistant Secretary of State in some Island in the Caribbean 20 years ago. When I figured out he was running a fraud of some sort, I used a website to get the Island Bank that cashed my check to wire me back my money without ever talking to him directly.
I recovered $20,000 I had given to a Canadian "Business Man" who, as it turned out, was running an investment Ponzi. When I started chasing him with a website he went dark. A few years later his young daughter died in a swimming party accident. Talk about a karmic hit. He made Canadian news headlines and we found him again. Then we followed up. "Hi Edward, long time no talk. Sorry to hear about the death of your daughter. Now, let's talk about that money you owe me, plus interest". I got it all back with interest via the creative use of websites.
I've handled a dozen or so bad renter situations with websites, as well.
People who have a reputation they want or need to protect are typically more sensitive to websites for reconciliation than legal threats, for several reasons.
I have, however, run into a new class of people recently.
They seem to have commercial reputations to protect, but they seem to care a bit less for the power of my simpler websites, unfortunately.
They use "confusion" for a defense and care not if others who should know them to be competent believe them to be not. It's been odd, and it's forced me to make them a lot more personal and more public.
With that as my impetus, this is an example of "fu-k you" websites 2.0. They have none but themselves to blame. This avenue was only pursued AFTER attempts to communicate with everyone relevant were ignored.
Until Professional Industry Oversight Systems can be properly designed with transparency, ethics and equity as the focus, and until the entire US Legal System can be overhauled, I'd encourage everyone to learn how to build simple, informational websites with Flow Charts, like this one.
Videos can NOT do what this site does. Not even close.
This type of website represents the lowest cost, most powerful tool for equitable balance
one could hope for,
while greatly deterring repeat offenses and future offenders, simultaneously.
It can do things Courts and Attorneys have never been able to do on their best hour.
Avoid "Freedom of Speech" challenges properly,
with honesty in publishing.
Hopefully some will use this as the worthy suggestion it's meant to represent.
This website represents a PICTURE BOOK, but without any of the editing, printing, distribution overhead of a normal book,
and with post publishing editing that is second to none.
