BRVGS 12th Grade

The BRVGS Senior Internship, Research and Community Service Project:

Over the years, many BRVGS graduates have contacted us to let us know how their experience in BRVGS helped to prepare them for college and the workplace. Almost all of those graduates have cited the BRVGS Senior Project as the best preparation for the world after high school, and many have gone on to pursue their senior topic in college and as a career.

The BRVGS Senior Project encompasses 3 elements:

• An internship with an "expert" in the student's area of interest

• An in-depth research paper that addresses a "burning question" in the student's topic

• A service project in support of the student' community or school

As our seniors head into an uncertain year, BRVGS is committed to finding unique opportunities, virtual internships and other creative ways for students to fulfill the internship and community service components of their Senior Project. Those opportunities will include seminars, in which BRVGS brings experts to students virtually, unique classes.
