Observation Journals

• 9/15 

  • The plants are making good progress even before the variable has even been added. They are not very large yet.

• Test 1

  • The variable has been added for the first time. The mutants are growing much faster already and their leaves are turning red.

• Test 2 

  • The mutants are bolting but are already red there as well. This is most likely due to the lack of protein circulation.

• Test 3 

  • Mutant bolts continue to grow.

• Test 4

  • The mutant rosettes are almost completely brown.

• Test 5

  • The wild type plants are finally bolting and the mutants are dead.

• Test 6

  • The wild Arabidopsis continue to grow.

• Test 7

  • The siliques have been collected but the final size of the wild type Arabidopsis will be unknown as they did not die.
