This picture shows the rosettes beginning to bolt in the Mutant Experimental pots.
This picture was taken of the start of the blooms.
This picture was taken 11 days after replanting the Wild Type plants.
In this picture, my group and I were bottom watering the Wild Type plants.
Shown in this picture is a Wednesday watering and measuring session.
This picture was taken to show how the plants had died off after a long break.
On this day, we began adding our 12Mm KCl solution (2.4mL of 0.5M KCl and 97.6 mL of H20) every Wednesday.
Mutants have sprouted and their bolts have grown in a bright green color. The soil for all plant boxes has been recently watered and is moist. The wild type plants are just beginning to sprout their bolts because they were replanted.
The plants have tall and strong bolts and siliques are beginning to protrude off the bolts. The soil is fairly dry because it has not been watered yet this week. The mutant control plants were the tallest followed by wild control, mutant experimental, and wild experimental.
The wild type plants are tall and stiff sticking straight up while the mutants are tall enough to begin drooping.
On this day, my group and I bottom watered the plants. The soil seemed not moist but not dry; somewhere in the middle. The bolts were droopy, but still green and still had a strong base.
On this day, the Arabidopsis thaliana plant was in between the stage of being a thriving plant and a semi dead plant. The roots were strong, but the bolts were getting droopy.
On this day, the soil in the pots was very dry and gritty. The mutant plants were very droopy and had a light brown color. At this point, the plants were primarily dead and we stopped measuring a few days later.
