Arabidopsis thaliana plant pictures:
Observation Journals:
9/15: On this date the plants began to show signs of visible growth and began to sprout out of the soil.
9/18:Today we observed the plants continuing to grow, however some plants began to show signs of not being able to handle the stress as some leaves began to darken.
9/22: On this date We replanted the Wild Type Plants that's why minimal growth is shown in the photo. We also observed some plants beginning to show signs of rapid growth.
10/3:On this date we observed some plants beginning to grow at a rapid rate particularly the wild type control had the tallest bolt height so far although all groups had grown a large amount.
10/7:Today a large majority of the plants began to rapidly grow as all of them began to catch up to the Wild Type Control. On This date the plants reached their peak height however many of them were decaying due to being close to the end of their lifespan.
10/9:We observed on this day that nearly half of the plants began to decay and die. These plants have virtually only darkened leaves with little to no visible green healthy leaves. The plants were very close to dying as they were at the end of their lifespan.
