A sunny and warm arrival in Roodt-Syre. The Belgian delegation flies right in with a visit to Maison Relais' charming "Bèschcrèche". This crèche is designed to bring children, aged 2 to 4, closer to nature and to ensure that children have more physical activity outdoors, as they will spend part of the morning and afternoon in nature.

Kevin Simoes Loureiro, a researcher from the University of Luxembourg, unveils his study on the implementation of the plurilingual education policy within the Luxembourgish early childhood education and care sector. The more we learn about Luxembourg's trilingual system, the more questions come to mind. The plenary discussion afterwards is therefore interesting.

The Maison Relais is a non-formal care facility run by Caritas Jeunes et Familles asbl and the Commune of Betzdorf for children aged between 3 months and 12 years. They have beautiful buildings on the Betzdorf campus where the primary school, music school and sports facilities are also located.

Pierre and Myriam from IKL, the Centre for Intercultural Education, give us a theoretical framework on intercultural education and concepts such as multiculturalisme, interculturalisme, migration pedagogy, plurilinguism and multilinguism within the Luxembourg context. In addition, we will also get a brief presentation on the Visible project, which aims to put more diversity on bookshelves in schools.

Anke demonstrates her talent as a yoga teacher and gives us a virtuous yoga session under a radiant sun to start this final day. Then, using an object we found in nature, we each tell what the past few days have done to us. The answers were often gripping, everyone agreeing that we had a very good meeting.

From 17 to 19 April, the last meeting of Together Strong in Languages will take place in Brussels. We would like to make it a great edition together and share our acquired knowledge and experiences with as many people as possible. The ideas and enthusiasm are there.... a save the date for our inspiration day on Thursday 18 April 2024 is coming up!
