By booking an appointment with Bruce & Co Dog Grooming, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions

1. Appointments & Bookings

All grooming appointments must be booked in advance via our online booking system or by direct contact.

Appointment times are estimated and may vary depending on your dog’s coat condition, behaviour, or grooming needs.

We reserve the right to refuse or stop a grooming session if a dog becomes aggressive, overly stressed, or poses a risk to staff or itself.

2. Cancellations & No-Shows

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend an appointment, may result in a cancellation or no-show fee.

Repeated no-shows may require full or partial payment in advance for future bookings.

3. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

Late arrivals may result in a shortened grooming session or the need to reschedule, which may incur a fee.

4. Dog Health & Behaviour

All dogs must be in good general health and free from contagious conditions.

You must inform us prior to grooming of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, skin issues, or behavioural concerns.

Dogs with severe matting may require extra time, an additional fee, or humane clipping for their comfort and welfare.

We do not groom dogs that require sedation.

5. Fleas, Ticks & Coat Condition

If fleas or ticks are found during grooming, an additional treatment or cleaning fee may apply.

Matted coats may need to be clipped short; we will not de-mat if it causes pain or distress to the dog.

We are not responsible for any skin irritation or pre-existing conditions revealed once matting is removed.

6. Injury & Liability

Grooming carries inherent risks, particularly with elderly dogs, nervous dogs, or dogs with existing conditions.

While every care is taken, Bruce & Co Dog Grooming is not liable for injury, illness, or complications resulting from grooming where reasonable care has been provided.

Any veterinary costs resulting from pre-existing conditions or disclosed behaviour remain the owner’s responsibility.

7. Payments & Pricing

Prices are based on breed, size, coat condition, and behaviour.

Additional charges may apply for excessive matting, behavioural handling, or additional services requested during the appointment.

Payment is due at the time of collection unless otherwise agreed.

8. Photography & Marketing

With your consent, photos or videos of your dog may be taken during grooming and used for marketing purposes (social media or website).

Please inform us if you do not consent to this.

9. Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for loss or damage to collars, leads, coats, or personal items left with your dog.

10. Right to Amend

Bruce & Co Dog Grooming reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
