FBLA is a career and technical student organization that inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.
Our FBLA chapter was chartered in 2022 and started with 2 members, and currently we are up to 14. As a new career and technical student organization, we're excited to continue to expand our membership and opportunities for students.
COMPETITION
FBLA members are able to compete against other business students from across Northwestern Wisconsin at the Region I Leadership Conference on the first Saturday in February. Members who achieve 1st-3rd in their event move on to the State Leadership Conference in April.
Our students have performed exceptionally well at regional and state competitions. Our state qualifiers have included the following:

BUSINESS TOURS
FBLA members tour a variety of businesses the Chippewa Valley and Blue Hills regions, exploring careers in sports & entertainment marketing, hospitality and tourism, manufacturing, business, health care, and more. Stepping into a business environment and learning from professionals doing the work every day is an invaluable experience for our FBLA members and business education students.
LOCAL CHAPTER EVENTS
Our FBLA chapter facilitates a variety of local events in our district. We manage a small snack stop, complete a variety of fundraising efforts, hold a few social events, and more. Members are encouraged to get as active in our FBLA chapter as they'd like.
MINI BUSINESS WORLD
FBLA members have participated in the Wisconsin Business World - Mini Business World at CESA 10. We look forward to upcoming opportunities to join other students from the CESA 10 region to develop and pitch new businesses. Students go through the following business processes and present to the group: research & development, prototyping, pricing, marketing, and more.
