Manchester | Room 27 website is the best place to find all information in one place!
Ms. Manchester will send an invitation from her classroom. Raisins who accept the invitation can choose to receive summaries about their student's classes either weekly or daily - your choice. Guardian summaries include the following information:
Missing work—Work that’s late at the time the email was sent
Upcoming work—Work that’s due today and tomorrow (for daily emails) or work that’s due in the upcoming week (for weekly emails)
Class activity—Announcements, assignments, and questions recently posted
YES! (within a given grading period) Students may redo assignments for full credit. There is a form they will need to fill out and turn in with the updated assignment. Students will have to name the original response, explain why/how they missed it, and provide a new and correct response explaining why it is correct. N.B. There will be times that I will expect a student to redo work.
Because of the nature of ELA and history tests, it is too difficult to craft multiple versions of tests that have comparable difficulty and address the same content.
However, students can earn half of the credit back on a test. There is a similar process for correcting tests as redoing assignments. Students will have to name the original answer, explain why/how they missed it, and provide a new and correct answer with an explanation of why it is correct.
