How can I find out what is happening at School Board meetings? When are they?
Can you speak at Board Meetings?
Yes! Everyone has the right to speak at public Board Meetings – it is the democratic process in action. When you enter the Board Room, fill out the yellow slip on the conference table and hand it to the office manager.
When your name is called, approach the podium. Once you start speaking, you have a 3-minute limit.
