Brown University
I was a teaching assistant for the following courses at Brown University.
Fall 2025: APMA 1080 (Inference in Genomics and Molecular Biology)
Spring 2025: APMA 1740 (Recent Applications in Probability and Statistics)
Fall 2023, Fall 2024: APMA 1650 (Statistical Inference I)
Spring 2024: APMA 1860 (Graphs and Networks)
Applied Math's Directed Reading Program
I have been involved in the Applied Math's Directed Reading Program (DRP) both as a mentor and as an organizer. Each semester, we pair each mentor (graduate student/ postdoc) with 1-3 undergraduate students to learn about a topic outside those offered by courses here. Here are some of the projects I have mentored.
Fall 2025: Combinatorial Game Theory
Fall 2023, Spring 2024: The Probabilistic Method
A powerful non-constructive method to prove existence of a combinatorial object with specified properties. To prove that something "good" exists, we consider a random object from a suitable probability space, and prove that the probability of picking our desired object is strictly positive.Â
