If you have not done so already, your first step in getting started is to submit your Enrollment Form with your intent to accept your offer of admission! You can access the link to your enrollment form directly from your official admit letter, which can be found in your Slate Application Portal.
After completing your enrollment form and accepting your offer of admission, you will be prompted to submit your non-refundable deposit of $500 (via credit card). The deposit will be posted to your student account as a credit towards your first semester tuition and fees balance.
*If you plan to decline your offer of admission, you are still required to complete your enrollment form indicating your intent to decline.
As soon as you receive instructions to activate (approximately 48 hours post-deposit):

Brown University makes every effort to provide its students with adequate financial support.
Students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents may be eligible for federal student loans. A FAFSA is required to be submitted online. Brown University's graduate code for the FAFSA is: E00058. For any questions related to federal financial aid and FASFA, please reach out to gs_financial_aid@brown.edu.
For students without full Brown funding, international and US citizens may also have the ability to apply for credit-based private education loans through the lender of their choice. More information is available about private loans on the Loan Office website or by emailing loans@brown.edu.
If selected for a merit-based scholarship award, your official letter of admission provides details on your scholarship (i.e., the number of years and levels of support). All promises of financial support are subject to a student making satisfactory academic progress as determined by their program of study.
Approved scholarship awards reduce the amount of the required payment of tuition and fees. Therefore, students with approved scholarship awards, will not be assessed late charges provided their balance due after these awards is remitted on time. No scholarships or loan funding can be used to pay late payment charges.
If you have a question or concern about your scholarship award, please contact your admissions counselor: onlinemasters_admissions@brown.edu or onlinesph_admissions@brown.edu.
