This is a post specifically for concentrators in Semester 7. By this point, you should have a concentration advisor, but you should also have a concentration declaration, which is in the ASK system. You probably wrote that declaration in ASK when you were a sophomore or a junior. When you did it, you were told to put down classes that you expected to take, - that you hoped would be offered as a way of satisfying the requirements of the concentration.
Here's the thing: that declaration should match the courses that you actually took.
So, it is a really good idea to Redeclare your concentration once you have preregistered for your last semester to make sure that the courses that you actually took match what is on your declaration.
As part of this process, it is critical that you meet with your concentration advisor to let them know you are doing this. Go to their office hours or schedule a physical, in person meeting. Doing these kinds of things in person is SO MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE than doing it by email. Professors, by the way, should encourage you to meet with them in person.
And, if you are unable to meet with your faculty member, or need to talk with another person who does advising, you can meet with the Director of Undergraduate Studies for the CLPS department. Right now, that's me, and my office hours are on the home page of this blog.
