Record a Speech of Introduction
Instructions
1. By April 20th, please record an introductory speech. This can be done with your smart phone or laptop. Submit your introduction by uploading it to the Google drive folder linked here.
2. It is essential that you prepare for your introduction because first impressions are often lasting impressions. Please practice, being sure to time yourself. You should aim for a minute and a half; there is a 2-minute maximum.
3. Consider your audience -- your colleagues at JSW.
4. Things you might cover -- who you are, what's important to you, what you do at your workplace, what projects you are currently working on, and what specific challenges or opportunities you have at work.

Assignment 1
In this exercise, you will create your own case study. You will be discussing these scenarios in class. Write short answers to the questions in this form by April 10th, 2023.
Assignment 2
Complete this Leadership Circle Self-assessment (~30 minutes). It will ask you to set up an account and will ask you if you were referred by a TLC consultant. Say 'yes' to that and if it asks for a name, list me, Robin Rose. The self-assessment is free.
When you get your report, don't spend a lot of time trying to figure it out. I will walk you though this in class. Please bring your report with you, either digitally or printed out.
Assignment 3
Watch this Locating Yourself video at least twice. The video is about 4 minutes long and it goes fast. I want you to absorb as much detail as possible. Think about where you are most of the time, 'above or below the line?' We will discuss it in class. Think about what situations trigger you to react from below the line.
