Issie is a rising senior from Mississippi majoring in Biology. She is a BLS supervisor at Brown EMS. Issie enjoys running, soccer, tennis, hiking, bike-riding, rock-climbing, and anything outdoors. She can almost always be found either at BEMS, the SciLi, or Hasbro Children’s Hospital, where she does clinical research. Her favorite book series is Harry Potter, and her favorite food is ice cream.

Juliana is a rising senior from New Jersey. Her name is spelled with one N. Juliana is a BLS supervisor at Brown EMS. She is double concentrating in Biology and Visual Arts and is sleeping 90% of the time. She took this course the summer after freshman year and is excited to help instruct this year.

Eugene is a rising senior from Wantage, New Jersey studying Cognitive Neuroscience. He is a BLS supervisor candidate at Brown EMS. His friends affectionately call him Euge, and he’s a huge proponent of scientific journalism, so he writes for the Science and Research Section of the Brown Daily Herald. He enjoys his research on early life stress in Biomed, and has just started watching Game of Thrones so don’t spoil anything! He took the summer BEMS class last year and is excited to now be teaching and working with all of the new EMTs!

Sheena is a rising senior from Phoenix, Arizona studying Biology. She is a BLS supervisor candidate and the logistics coordinator for BERT. When she's not at BEMS, you can find her working in her lab at RIH, binge-watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine, or looking for cute dogs to photograph around campus. While she didn't take the class here at Brown, she's looking forward to her first summer in Providence and working with you all.

Gee is a rising senior from Silver Spring, Maryland studying biology. He is an EMT at Brown EMS. He can often be found at the SciLi, BEMS, or his physiology lab, but you can also find him sleeping or intensely concentrating on something that's probably not important. He enjoys cooking, exercising, and taking long walks on the beach. Gee has been an EMT at different stations in Maryland and Rhode Island, and he's excited to teach from his experiences!

Story is a rising senior from the Greater Seattle Area studying Health and Human Biology. She is a BLS supervisor candidate and a member of the BERT logistics team at Brown EMS. When not at BEMS, Story can be found at one of her many jobs, driving around New England, or cheering on the Seattle Storm, of whom she is a lifelong fan. Fun facts about Story are she loves basketball, has a black belt, and had heart surgery at 16. She took the summer course last year and is very excited to teach it!

Tanay is a rising junior from Folsom, California studying Public Health and (hopefully) Urban Studies. He joined BEMS the fall of his sophomore year and currently volunteers on the service as a BLS supervisor candidate. Having taken the summer course the previous year, he is looking forward to returning and sharing the joys of EMS with this year's class. He is also hoping to explore more of Rhode Island this summer so feel free to send suggestions for places/cool things to check out his way.
